Server log files
When you visit gatorio.io, your web browser automatically transmits data to our server. This includes your IP address, browser type, referring URL, date and time of the request, and the pages visited. This data is stored temporarily in server log files for security and operational purposes and deleted after 7 days at the latest.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website).
Cookies
This website does not set any tracking or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required or displayed.
Analytics
This website does not use any analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Plausible, no third-party tracking of any kind).
4. External resources
This website loads no external resources. All fonts are self-hosted. No requests are made to Google Fonts, Cloudflare, CDNs, or any third-party servers when you visit this site.
5. The Gatorio plugin
The Gatorio WordPress plugin itself is separate from this website. Regarding the plugin's data handling:
- IP addresses of login attempts are stored as SHA-256 hashes combined with your WordPress installation's unique NONCE_SALT. Plain-text IPs are never stored.
- No usernames, passwords, or user agents are stored.
- All data is stored as WordPress transients and automatically deleted after the lockout period expires.
- The plugin makes no external requests of any kind.
- No data is transmitted to Sichtelement | Design or any third party.
The plugin operator (i.e. the WordPress site owner who installs Gatorio) is responsible for their own GDPR compliance. Gatorio is designed to require no additional privacy notice entries.

- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
